Part of Israel's strategy of destroying Gaza is to destroy the ability of the people of Gaza to tell their story, by explicitly targeting and assassinating journalists.

They hope that if they kill the messengers

ReplyDeleteIt seems very clear that Israel doesn't just want to defeat Hamas, it wants to obliterate all sense of Palestine and Palestinians as an independent and viable culture and nation and make the survivors into a broken and subservient people. That way there will be no more need to speak of peace or two-state solutions.
