Passages of the Sun

Golden fingers shoot forth
Banishing dark clouds
Clearing nights doom.

Orchards burning in
Russet flames, ablaze
Like shimmering waves

Cooling shadows comfort
In leafy streets, romance flickers
Stirred and sun kissed.

Burning rays, drench
Release the most trenchant of spirits
Under the whirl of summer time.

In perilous times, sadness lifts
As we let sunshine in
Open up our hearts.

Beyond capitalisms drunkeness
Get highjacked by warm vapours
That heal and nourish the soul.

Swimming in the arms of the ocean
Bodies glistening, serenity shining
Delivering comfort until dawn.
